In today's Lectures, I have learned the problems of internet information, Sometimes, there 's lots of useless imformation,and I felt the same when I doing my research topic. At first I tried the 3 key words which are online-gaming, impact and youth, the results are a lot but not much relevant imformation related to my research topic. It even give me the result of impact of Olympics games on youth. I felt reading at those useless and inefficient resources is wasting of time and when people cannot get the right information they want , they may become impatient.
I also learnt how to evaluate Internet Resource. In the past, I did not know that evaluating the Internet Resource is this troublesome. There is many criterias : Purpose, Coverage-, Authority, Accuracy, Currency, Accessibility, Presentation and Arrangement, Usability and Overall Quality.
I had done the template, spend a lot time on it, especially the Usability has very less to talk about, but after the today, I have a better understanding of the evaluating of the websites as well as the website I evaluate.
